Fabulous for creative play! |

My daughters have owned a very similar set from Melissa and Doug for five years now! It has survived two children, is played with frequently, and still looks brand new! They love it and it has inspired many, many hours of creative play.

The cutting food box is a high quality product. All three of my kids, ages 2 - 7, have enjoyed using the food that you can cut. They can be hard on our toys, but this has stood the test of their play! They have had such fun pretending to be cooks with the food. The wooden crate is a great serving tray, too!

Great for pretend play |

My daughter received this set for her 2nd birthday. Although 2 was a bit young to play with it without help, she now (at 2.5) has mastered using the knife and cutting through all the food. She has a wonderful time serving me, her dolls and stuffed animals carrots, bread, watermelon and so on. As a parent, I like that all the pieces store in a nice little wooden crate, so they are easily kept all in one place.
